Abu Dhabi Awards with Pandoras Box

For the Abu Dhabi TV Awards, our system provider and dealer Neumann & Müller from Germany used 2 Pandoras Box MediaServers. The Award Ceremony was held in December at the Emirates Palace Hotel. The 36m wide and 6m high screen was curved in the middle to the inside and Pandoras Box warped, shaped and corrected the whole screen scenery. The screen was projected with 4 x 12.000 Ansilumen projectors and each output of the Pandoras Box MediaServer had a resolution of 1600x1200 pixels. Magical pictures and videos of the country were projected on the screen and on a moveable backdrop in the centre of the stage which was then opened up during the show. A special keystone 3D model was created on site to accommodate the inclining sides of the stage.
