N&M supports German Olympic team
N&M to be "Licensed Partner for Germany" for the Olympic and Paralympic Games in London 2012 – commitment to top-level sport – N&M to provide and operate technical facilities in the German House in London
Neumann&Müller Veranstaltungstechnik (N&M) is stepping up its commitment to top-level sport and has signed a contract with the German Olympic Sports Confederation (DOSB) making the company a "Licensed Partner for Germany". "The sportswomen and sportsmen in our country are noted for their excellent performances, high quality level, fair play and their friendly approach to competition. At N&M we stand for the same values," stated Prof. Eberhard Müller, CEO and part owner of N&M, in explanation of his company's support.
N&M has been involved in activities relating the Olympics for some time now. In connection with Munich's bid to hold the Winter Games in the Bavarian capital in 2018, the company was a so-called "Friend of the Bid"; in this role, N&M lent its support by providing staff and equipment for a series of presentations to the IOC's decision-making bodies.
During the Winter Games in Vancouver, Canada in 2010, N&M provided technical services for the "German House". The company's know-how, equipment and technicians helped to make sure that sportsmen and women, officials, media as well as partners from industry and commerce could enjoy an ideally equipped meeting place. When the Olympic and Paralympic Games take place in London in the coming summer, N&M will once again be providing sound, light and video for the "German House" and DOSB events.
N&M will also make use of its status as a Licensed Partner to hold seminars in which it will inform interested companies and customers about current technological developments in the field. Concrete examples taken from practice and productions designed by N&M will show present and future technical possibilities - for example in the use of innovative media for 3D shows.
With this in mind, N&M has entered into a collaboration agreement with the event services company JMT from Hilden, a partner from the same sector that specializes in providing top-class rental furniture for trade fairs and events. The two companies will be underlining their commitment to the Olympic and Paralympic Games at the "Best of Events", which takes place on 18th and 19th January 2012 in Dortmund. The joint activities of N&M and JMT will also feature a presentation to be given to visitors to the fair by Axel Achten, CEO of Deutschen Sport-Marketing GmbH, as part of the "BoE-Forum". Entitled "Achtung, fertig - Sport!" (Ready, steady - sport!), his talk will give companies an insight into the various opportunities for forming partnerships in the field of sport.
