Augmented Reality App for GORE-TEX, OutDoor by ISPO 2019, Munich

From 30th June to 3rd July 2019, the OutDoor by ISPO premiered in Munich with over 1,000 exhibitors and more than 22,000 trade visitors. The slogan of Europe’s largest trade fair for outdoor products was: “There’s a perfect outdoor for everyone”. GORE-TEX was represented with a booth at the event, where it presented technology highlights from the “GORE-TEX: Guaranteed to keep you dry” and “GORE-TEX Infinium” ranges for the summer season 2020.
Visitors to ISPO were able to scan AR markers – affixed to the various GORE-TEX products on the whole stand in the form of diamond-shaped information symbols – to interactively retrieve and experience virtual information, features and video clips on three different product categories. Our Digital Media team developed and programmed an augmented reality app for Apple’s iPad Pro.
