Your tasks

Our hardworking and dedicated Crew team in Dubai is growing and we are seeking a Head of Crew to lead the team in these exciting times of growth!  If you’re ready for a challenge to demonstrate your strong leadership agility and ability to resource personnel in a fast-paced environment, then we want to hear from you!
Your responsibilities will include, but not limited to;
  • Being the team lead for Crew Managers and Crew
  • Responsible for planning staff and freelancer deployment together with the Crew Managers and Project Manager.
  • Oversee and ensure appropriately qualified staff is available at the right time for our projects.
  • Effective communication between Crew Managers, Project Managers and Crew.
  • Oversee all tasks associated with personnel booking is completed in an efficient and timely manner.
  • Support commercial and technical project management in the origination and over the coordination of travel planning.
  • Review and oversee invoices, accreditation, catering and ensure effective assistance on-site.[FE1] [JM2] 
  • Coach, develop and manage the Crew Management and Crew team.
  • Oversee the Crew Management unit on resource planning of assigned project using Easyjob 6.0 system 
  • Develop relevant Crew Management recruitment policy, plans and processes

Your profile

The ideal candidate will be personable and highly organised. Your unique ability to lead a team, understand the demands of our crew and increase efficiency in processes within the business unit, will see you succeed in this role.
You will also:
  • Have a large network of events and/or construction industry professionals
  • Have extensive experience in Crew and team management
  • Actively seek to build your business networks
  • Be passionate in identifying talent that best fits the team, project demands and cultural fit
  • You are a team-oriented personality with a lot of creativity and initiative
  • You are characterised by a high degree of personal responsibility, forward-thinking and hands-on mentality
  • A natural collaborator and have a strong understanding and experience with working with a range of stakeholders.
