United Nations Global Compact

A United Nations initiative

United for a better world – UN Global Compact

As a special initiative of the United Nations Secretary-General, the United Nations Global Compact is a call to companies worldwide to align their operations and strategies with the Ten Principles in the areas of human rights, labour, the environment and anti-corruption as well as to take action to support the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs).

The goal of the UN Global Compact is to accelerate and scale the global collective impact of business by upholding the Ten Principles and delivering the Sustainable Development Goals through accountable companies and eco-systems that enable change. With over 20,000 participating companies, five Regional Hubs, 62 Global Compact Country Networks in 73 countries and 15 country managers engaged in establishing networks in 34 other countries, the UN Global Compact is the world’s largest initiative for corporate sustainability – a Global Compact that unites business for a better world.

The Ten Principles of the UN Global Compact

By joining the initiative, we have committed ourselves to the Ten Principles for sustainable corporate governance and to the United Nation’s Sustainable Development Goals. We publish an annual progress report on our commitment.

Against the background of current global challenges, we believe it is particularly important to reinforce our commitment to more sustainability and to the Ten Principles. That is why we have joined the UN Global Compact Netzwerk Deutschland (UN Global Compact Network Germany) association!

Our membership in UNGC

As a member of UN Global Compact, we have joined thousands of companies across the world and committed ourselves to creating a world that all of us want by conducting our business responsibly.

We are proactive in helping to uphold the Ten Principles within our own business sector and direct supply chain. We are proud to be a signatory of the UN Global Compact.

To us, our membership of UN Global Compact means that we are committed to ethical and sustainable business practices towards our employees, clients and suppliers. This includes mitigating risks by implementing standards in the fields of human rights, labour, the environment and anti-corruption. Publishing an annual progress report allows us to present our sustainable corporate activities. We also receive access to a global network of businesses and organisations that are striving to achieve similar goals and promote the exchange of best practices.
