Events are becoming technically ever more sophisticated. High-performance networks form the backbone of our services, making sure that everything runs smoothly at your event. We plan, set up, start up and monitor from beginning to end.
Do you need a network for your event?

What you get from us
We will provide you with an all-round package for your event network. Our work begins as early as the planning stage of the event WLAN and ends with a detailed analysis at the end of the project – plus, of course, a large range of services during the project phase.

If a project is well planned, you’re already halfway there. As soon as you know how large your event will be, you should talk to us. At the beginning of the planning phase, we will recommend the best network to suit your needs. This covers requirements for all the technical equipment as well as WLAN for your visitors – so you don’t have to worry about performance.

As soon as the time comes to pitch in at your event location, our highly qualified network specialists will be on site. We will set up the entire network or integrate it into the existing IT infrastructure on site. And when the event is over, we will make sure that everything is dismantled to leave things exactly as they were before.

Good preparation includes carrying out a thorough stress test before things get underway, because we need to know if everything will work without a hitch when the system is up and running at full load. We make sure that is the case by monitoring the network throughout the entire event – upon request we can also provide a 24/7 contact person in our Network Operations Centre.

After each deployment, we test our equipment thoroughly to make sure it is always ready for use. Faulty equipment is taken out of circulation at our warehouse and repaired in our workshop. That is not only sustainable but also ensures you don’t need to worry about possible equipment failures.

Everything is ready, and suddenly there’s a technical problem? No need to worry! We also support our technicians with advice and active assistance during the event itself. We don’t even need to be on site. We simply analyse situations and equipment from our Network Operations Centre. A quick conversation is all it takes, and the problem is solved.
How do we go about our work?
We normally work in the background but will be happy to take you along and show you what we do.

More InformationSecure events with modernvideo surveillance
We don’t only monitor your event network but also provide video surveillance solutions for the entire event:
- Real-time surveillance: Our high-resolution, controllable camera systems keep a constant eye on all areas of your event. This technology also helps to monitor the situation in the event of an emergency and provides additional security for attendees.
- Anti-theft monitoring: We make sure your event is monitored around the clock. From the first minute to the last – we’ve got everything covered.
- Professional recordings: These make complete tracking and documentation of the event possible.
- Discreet integration: Our cameras blend in seamlessly with the surroundings at events without spoiling the atmosphere. Discretion and elegance are our top priorities.
- Reliable Support: Our experienced team will always be on hand. From planning through to follow-up – we are your partner for maximum event security.
Our Tipps for your network
There are three key questions to consider at the outset:
- How many users are expected?
- Which applications will be used?
- And which areas are a priority?
A network for the entire event, including the technical infrastructure, has different requirements to a guest Wi-Fi network. Our aim is to create many small, controlled radio cells rather than providing blanket coverage of large areas. Critical systems (production or payment transactions) take priority and must function reliably at all times.
A stable Wi-Fi connection is now business-critical at large-scale events. It is not just about guest access, but also about key processes such as check-in, apps, streaming and payment systems. The ability to reliably manage thousands of devices active at the same time is crucial. Today, Wi-Fi is an infrastructure element on a par with power supply or rigging.
During an event, it is the on-site details that determine the quality of the network:
- Access points must be positioned close to users
- Directional antennas help to direct the radio signal precisely
- Monitoring continuously analyses load and behaviour
- Redundancies safeguard critical areas
Ongoing support during the event is equally important. A Wi-Fi network must be actively monitored and continuously optimised. Experience makes all the difference, particularly with complex networks.
The biggest challenge is device density. Thousands of smartphones are present in a confined space at the same time and are constantly communicating with the network. Added to this is interference from wireless microphones, Bluetooth and wireless video transmission, as well as signal reflections caused by metal structures and stage set-ups. The environment also has a direct impact on network quality: concrete, glass and crowds significantly attenuate the signal. Events are dynamic: visitor flows change, and requirements arise at short notice. A good Wi-Fi network therefore needs to remain just as dynamic and flexible.
The most common mistakes in network planning are:
- “More access points mean better Wi-Fi.”
Without proper radio planning, performance often actually deteriorates because devices are covering the same area. - “The higher the bandwidth, the better.”
This statement is only true if there is sufficient radio capacity to support the bandwidth. - The positioning of the access points is also crucial. Incorrect height, shadowing from metal or excessive distances have a direct impact on quality.
- The biggest mistake remains late planning. If Wi-Fi is only considered at the very end, key decisions have already been made and are almost impossible to rectify. Most problems – including those affecting other trades on site – can be avoided through early, structured planning.
