Associations and networks

Our connected world needs strong associations and close collaborations.

Broad-based – for ourselves and our industry

We are very proud of our success as a stand-alone company. But the event industry as a whole cannot operate without associations. They promote communication within the sector and represent key interfaces to other industries and to politicians.

Our memberships include the key associations fwd: – Bundesvereinigung Veranstaltungswirtschaft (National Event Industry Association) and the IGVW (Event Industry Interest Group). This means we are not only part of the industry but also actively involved in advancing its development. For example, we are actively involved in creating industry standards that are established and introduced by the IGVW.

fwd:

fwd: – the National Event Industry Association, is our industry network. The fwd: association maintains close contact with politicians and advocates for better conditions in the event industry. fwd: is also very important to us as a major network within the industry as it brings together not only technology companies but also exhibition stand builders, agencies, catering companies and specialist suppliers.

IGVW

The Event Industry Interest Group (IGVW) represents the collective interests of its members. To this end, it maintains regular communication with German Social Accident Insurance (DGUV) institutions, the Safety Engineers Working Group (AKSi) of the ARD and ZDF TV networks and the Network of Occupational Safety Specialists (SiFa.VT).

As members of the IGVW, we play an active role in establishing and developing industry standards – such as SQQ2 Rigging. We train our employees in these standards in our apprenticeship and professional development programmes.

VPLT

We have been active members of the VPLT (Media and Event Technology Association) since 1994. The VPLT represents the interests of its members vis-à-vis public authorities, institutions and ministries. It also establishes standards in training and professional development within the industry.

We are actively involved in various committees, such as the Personnel Committee.

Networks – achieving great things together

Fantastic events in the public domain can benefit a whole town or region. To help that happen, we collaborate with convention offices and event networks with a clear aim in mind: to create a win-win situation.

You as a client benefit from our local expertise and from our know-how in overall realisation. We know that the event will be a complete success because all involved are experts. The town or region is then seen as an attractive location for congresses, conferences or other major events.

That is why we are a proud member of BEN – Berlin Event Network.

BEN – Berlin Event Network

Quality, experience and top-level professionalism: these are building bricks for successful events in Germany’s capital. BEN ensures perfect networking among its members, be they agencies, locations, caterers, restaurants or providers of equipment, technology, mobility or services.

We have been involved in BEN since 2018, keeping a finger on the pulse of what is going on in Berlin’s MICE market. Together we deliver successful, smooth-running events in a wide variety of cities throughout the world.
