Excellently trained young employees are an investment in the future – that is one of our guiding principles. When you begin one of our seven apprenticeships, we will nurture you interests and talents with the goal of offering you a job at the end.
What professions do we teach and how do we go about it?
Doing an apprenticeship at N&M is the perfect way to launch your professional career. We believe in practical work, varied and interesting tasks and a fast path to assuming responsibility. Our training staff are motivated professionals and want to show you why they love their profession and how to be really good in it. It is important to us that you not only understand your own job but also the work of your colleagues and our company. That’s why you will spend some time in other sections during your apprenticeship and become an active member of the team.
This can only succeed if a lot of different areas work together. That’s why we offer apprenticeships in a wide range of different professions. You will not only learn your own job but also how to ensure good, sustainable collaboration with other sections. That is because, ultimately, N&M can only achieve great things is we work together as a team.
Apprenticeships are available in the following professions:
- Event Technician
- Specialist for Warehouse Logistics
- IT Specialist for Sytem integration
- Commercial Event Administrator
- Commercial Administrator for Office Management
- Audio/Visual Media Designer
- Personnel Services Administrator
If you would like to take a look at what we do before you start your apprenticeship, just ask and we will be happy to give you the opportunity. If you are interested, you can ask us about an internship.
Event Technology
You like technology and want to learn all about it? If so, specialist for event technology is definitely the right job for you. You will learn what equipment we have, how it works and how to handle it. We will also teach you how to plan, coordinate and implement projects. Variety is guaranteed.
warehouse logistics Specialist
Organisation and structure are the two things a warehouse logistics specialist needs to know all about. Our projects cannot be realised without the technical equipment stored in our warehouses. Your job is to make sure that everything is well packed so that it can then be driven to the right location. And after the event, you will check everything through and make sure it is stored correctly.
System integration
No network means no events, and no IT means no N&M. Our IT specialists for system integration handle both internal projects and software solutions as well as event networks, for which our ICT team in Hanover is responsible. So it’s up to you: do you prefer working at events themselves or in the background?
event administrators
Planning, customer care, writing offers, coordinating projects. Do you think you would really enjoy this responsibility and pulling all the strings?
Our commercial event administrators keep all our projects running and are the point of contact to all other sections, e.g. staff and equipment assignment and accounting. In this job, you will be responsible for fine-tuning our projects.
Audio/Visual Media Designer
Creating multimedia content is an art form in its own right, and that is exactly what you will learn during your apprenticeship. Our Digital Media team creates everything from video clips and interactive exhibits through to fully animated content. You’ll not only be operating a camera but bringing our clients’ worlds to life.
administrator for office management
If a project is well organised, you’re halfway there. Our commercial administrators for office management are real all-rounders when it comes to organisation. They know every detail of the project and keep an eye on the figures to make sure the business side of the operation runs smoothly.
Personnel services administration
Every project needs a well-oiled team to make sure an impressive result is achieved. In your role of personnel services administrator, you will not only be part of the project team but will also be involved in personnel planning and recruitment. It will also be your job to keep an eye on the costs. In this job, you will be a key point of contact to the event teams.
Internship at N&M
Still undecided about your future or do you have so many interests that you don’t know what path to take? If that’s the case, an internship is a good way of gaining a comprehensive insight into our everyday work and the diversity of our apprenticeships. Simply get in touch and ask about vacancies for internships.
How our Apprentices work
There is so much for our apprentices to learn in all of our projects. But if you are keen, open-minded and enjoy what you’re doing, it feels like more than just work.
