Ivoclar Fair Booth @ IDS and Jubilee Gala

… for premium dental applications in dental practices and laboratories. To kick off its 100th jubilee year, the company took the opportunity to celebrate its history in fitting fashion and present its latest innovations on its booth at IDS (International Dental Show) in Cologne, the world’s leading fair for the dental community.

We had the challenging task of staging special parts of the trade fair appearance at the Koelnmesse exhibition centre and well as “side events” at the “Tanzbrunnen” location.

In addition to the sound for the two conference rooms on the booth – where numerous presentations were held throughout the week of the fair – we also provided services for the live presentation of new Ivoclar technologies in the centre of the exhibition stand. For visitors to the booth we recorded live images with a shoulder camera and three dome cams. These were then shown on three four-square-metre LED walls above the centre of the stand.

Ivoclar’s kick-off press conference was held before the IDS at the “Tanzbrunnen” event location on the banks of the Rhine. The dental company had prepared a video of its fascinating history to be shown at this key event and also used the stage for the launch of its latest generation of innovative PrograScan laboratory scanners.

We had also prepared everything for the gala evenings at the Tanzbrunnen theatre. These events where held at the end of each day to celebrate the Ivoclar jubilee. We lit the location as well its outdoor area and foyer with harmonious lighting for the 1,200 guests attending each event. In the theatre we created the right mood with atmospheric lighting and show lighting for the band. To achieve perfect acoustics, we added to the in-house PA system and set up the microphones for the protagonists on stage. Moving images were projected onto a central screen on the stage and six individual screens around the sides of the theatre. Content production, graphics and lower thirds were created by our Digital Media team.
