“Rockaue” Festival

… helped to create perfect conditions for the artists’ performances. As part of their apprenticeship, they had attended a workshop where they joined together in teams with the aim of realising this specific project on their own initiative. Their tasks: material logistics, technical planning, coordination with the festival organiser and professional artists as well as – on site in Bonn – staging and rigging for two stages, including their equipping with audio and lighting.

On top of all that, landscape and noise protection provisions had to be strictly complied with. The reason for the latter being so that local residents had no grounds for complaint. A team of experts and representatives of the City of Bonn monitored the festival at specified measuring points – and certified that, in this respect too, the team had done a first-class job.
