On 14 May, TRATON SE invited its shareholders to a virtual annual general meeting (AGM). The company used …

… the communication facilities at Eisbach Studios in Munich to interact with its shareholders. With its four brands Scania, MAN, International and Volkswagen Truck & Bus, TRATON SE is a key player in the transport industry and one of the world’s leading commercial vehicle manufacturers. Thanks to our many years of expertise in digital annual general meetings, we contributed to the legally compliant implementation in the technical area.
Our in-house developed “SmartLive.Studio” is another guarantee of this. The tool enables high-quality and consistently secure integration of participants in such digital – but also in hybrid – meetings. This includes, for example, switching on shareholder contributions in accordance with GDPR requirements.
This is how it works: shareholders or their representatives register their contributions via the AGM portal or another event platform and are directed to a waiting room in “SmartLive.Studio”, where their audio and video are first checked. Service agents also assist participants with their speeches and keep them in contact with the moderators and directors while they continue to follow the live stream of the AGM, including simultaneous translation. After their speeches, shareholders are returned to the portal and can continue to participate in the meeting as before.
