  • projection power: approx. 700,000 ANSI lumens
  • redundant power supply (2 x 1,600 kVA)
  • responsible for coordinating the entire approval process with the health and safety authority as well as with the parks department.
  • project control for the entire organisation, and logistics for the required infrastructure: stage management, accreditation for artists and crew, safety concept, stage design; plus: cordons, backstage catering, seating, signage, ground protection, office containers, lifting gear, security, sanitary facilities and waste disposal.

We constructed a dome stage with a width of 20 metres and a clearance of 11 metres right in front of the western facade of the Reichstag building. A 400-square-metre apron was erected in front of the main stage, whose transparent design allowed a perfect view of the parliament building. The 90-minute event was attended by over 2,000 VIPs seated in a covered, transparent grandstand and an additional seating area as well as by around 15,000 visitors in the public section. The performers included the "Junge Deutsche Philharmonie", the "Berliner Äcademy für Marching Drums" (BÄM!) with Peter Fox and the "Flying Steps" breakdance group. The audience in the Platz der Republik had an unobstructed view of the Reichstag building and the four LED walls. Our studios in Munich and Dresden used 3D mapping to design and realise a full-surface projection onto the parliament building. This was used for all of the items on the program as well as for the subsequent multimedia installation.
