N&M Provides Further Streaming Studio in Hamburg – Collaboration with Satellite Office Begins in Frankfurt

Neumann&Müller Veranstaltungstechnik has now opened its “Hamburg City Studio” for the realisation of even more Digital Live Events. The new studio is on the company’s own premises near the city centre on Anckelmannsplatz. This represents a further extension of N&M’s wide-ranging portfolio of solutions for streaming services. A first, suitably equipped studio has been available to N&M clients at its Munich branch office for a year now. In the meantime, N&M has installed further studios using its own equipment in a number of its partner venue, including bauwerk.köln, STATION-Berlin, Hoch5 in Munich and the congress centres in Stuttgart and Munich. On top of all that, N&M has also set up webcast studios within companies – for permanent or temporary use on site.

In parallel to these activities, N&M began collaborating with Satellite Office, a provider of flexible, luxury-class working spaces in Germany and Switzerland. Starting this month, clients have the opportunity of broadcasting top-quality streaming events with one to three persons from the professionally equipped conference rooms of the Satellite Office in Frankfurt am Main. A further ten Satellite Office locations are due to follow in the near future.

The focus here is on content such as keynotes or interviews shown live as professionally produced contributions to hybrid or fully digital event formats. This is a fast, straightforward way of enabling companies to hold virtual meetings with their customers, business partners and own staff spread over various locations. Satellite Office calls its studio offering “Digital Suite”, as in addition to the very latest technology it also provides a high level of hospitality.

Whether for a meeting with a small number of attendees, the presentation of new products or a small-scale congress, even when spread across different venues: streaming solutions from such Working Spaces are ideal for many different types of corporate communication activities, whereby both live broadcasts and recorded formats can be used. For such events, there is now a 30 square meter indoor studio and a similarly sized outdoor area with a view of the skyline right in the heart of Frankfurt next to the city’s opera house. There are also two control rooms and the option of additional rooms for wardrobe, make-up and meetings, plus the location’s own bistro.

The Satellite Office is therefore perfectly equipped not only for smaller Digital Live Events but also for use as an external studio for live linkups or remote conferences moderated from the location. For this purpose, the streaming studio has the very latest technical equipment featuring audio, lighting, video and camera systems. Collaboration platforms can be just as easily integrated as high-end broadcast systems for realising streaming in all commonly used formats and on a range of different platforms. At the client's request, customised additions to the equipment – including solutions for Simultaneous Remote Interpreting (RSI), Information and Communications Technology (ICT), Digital Media (DM) and Venue Services from N&M – plus set construction and decoration concepts can all be included in the all-round portfolio from a single source – along with hygiene concepts drawn up by certified specialists. Having made a start in Frankfurt, Satellite Offices are due to follow shortly in Berlin, Düsseldorf, Hamburg, Munich and Zurich.
