"Remote Simultaneous Interpreting" (RSI) is a service package provided by Neumann&Müller Veranstaltungstechnik for efficient simultaneous interpreting at international conferences and events. Interpreters work in a remote hub without having to be present at the conference location itself. N&M has now opened the first permanent facility of this kind in Neuhausen near Stuttgart.

Impressive premiere for the Greentech Festival: from Thursday to Saturday, over 1,000 conference-goers were at the site in Tempelhof and were fascinated by sustainable technologies and innovations during the congress, award ceremony and accompanying exhibition. N&M was one of the festival sponsors and showed what is currently technically possible in terms of "green rationale".

The N&M units System Integration, Digital Media, and Information and Communications Technology are each to be given a separate market presence in order to sharpen their focus. The Neumann&Müller Veranstaltungstechnik sub-brands clearly indicate that they belong to the company's umbrella brand and that they are therefore backed by many years of know-how, service awareness and high-quality implementation.

At the beginning of November enterprises, start-ups and political institutions gathered to discuss trends and topics in the field of digitalisation. In Hall 8 of the Cologne Trade Fair Centre, N&M set up a high-performance IT network to ensure that the digital summit more than met all the communication requirements of the numerous speakers and exhibitors as well as those of over 7,000 visitors.

Before the shareholders' meeting, N&M installed a new kind of sound localisation system in addition to the proven audio set-up to test its qualities in practice. The result impressed in terms of performance and the system proved its worth for speech applications of this kind.

As capacities at the two locations had been exhausted, the project teams moved to new offices.

Along with the other company directors Stephan Hartmann and Alex Ostermaier, the 34-year-old will represent the company to the outside world. Jürgen Neumann and Eberhard Müller to end their active involvement in the company.

Training, qualification, a motivating working environment and trust-based togetherness were major criteria in being named "Best Employer of the Year". The award was presented to the company in Dubai at the beginning of April.

When the event industry gathers in the exhibition halls in Frankfurt from 10th to 13th April, Neumann&Müller Veranstaltungstechnik will not only be focusing on the search for innovations but also for industry professionals and apprentices.
