Technology Scouts and HR Team Present at Prolight+Sound 2018

Frankfurt

When the event industry gathers in the exhibition halls in Frankfurt from 10th to 13th April, Neumann&Müller Veranstaltungstechnik will not only be focusing on the search for innovations but also for industry professionals and apprentices.

The countdown for this year's Prolight+Sound is underway: the trade fair for event and media technology highlights a wide variety of exhibition areas and is a major international meeting place for the industry. Besides exhibition stands presenting the event industry, there will also be a top-class conference program and the "Education Areal", which will feature a job exchange. Neumann&MüllerVeranstaltungstechnik will be represented on Stand C10 in the "Forum". While the company's technology scouts are meeting manufacturers to discuss technical developments on the markets, the HR team will be presenting the company as an employer on the stand on Level 0.

The background to N&M's renewed presence at the fair in Frankfurt is the wide range of professions and apprenticeships the company now offers. There are over a dozen different jobs for industry professionals and a similar number of apprenticeships for young women and men. Besides such full-time jobs - N&M currently has over 50 vacancies on the Jobs page of its website - the recruiters are also looking for additional specialists for the firm's pool of freelance technicians. Over 2,600 of them are currently active for N&M in a wide range of disciplines - and the number is rising. As companies in the booming event sector continue to grow, qualified specialists are in demand, and there is increasing competition to secure their services. "Prolight+Sound is a good platform to come into contact with possible candidates and show them the perspectives in store at N&M," says Stefan Hoffmann, who is responsible for human resources at the company.
