In his novel "Wilhelm Meister's apprenticeship", Goethe wrote: "The best education for a clever person is found in travel." But Christian didn't want to leave it at that. Born in Munich in 1977, he saw a lot of the world when still a child, living with his mother in Norway, the United States and India. After leaving school and working as a stagehand for an equipment rental company, he decided to build his career on a solid basis. He first completed an apprenticeship as a "specialist for event technology" before going on to gain a "master" qualification in the field.

During a training course to become an "expert on slinging equipment in event technology" in 2004, he met the staff of the N&M branch office at the Munich Trade Fair Centre – and stayed on. For eight years he not only worked for the trade fair office but also for the branch in Taufkirchen. His experience in project management and sales led him to work on N&M's first productions in Qatar.

In 2010, when asked to help develop the N&M office in Dubai, he grasped the opportunity with both hands. Today he is a Senior Project Manager, whose main task is to support agency clients. "Life in Dubai is completely focussed on work," he says. He is fascinated by both the professional and cultural experience that he is able to gather in the country – as well as by the wealth of creativity that he and the creative agencies are able to contribute to the projects commissioned by their joint clients. His many years of experience in the United Arab Emirates have taught him that orders often come at very short notice and that spontaneous changes by clients are not unusual. Despite such challenges, he keeps his cool and responds with a high degree of flexibility – which is what you would expect from a well-qualified, widely travelled and clever person.
